The purpose of this Regulation is to determine detailed technical specifications and test procedures regarding functional safety related to brake performance for type approval and market surveillance of agricultural and forestry vehicles, as well as systems, components, and separate technical units designed for use in such vehicles, in order to ensure compliance with the structure of the road and traffic safety in terms of construction and use, in accordance with the provisions of the Highway Traffic Law numbered 2918 dated 13/10/1983.
