According to the provisions of the Highway Traffic Law, the purpose of this Regulation is to determine the procedures and principles regarding the issuance of AT Component Type Approval Certificate and AT Vehicle Type Approval Certificate for components or separate technical units related to electromagnetic compatibility (radio interference), and for vehicles in terms of electromagnetic compatibility, in order to fulfill the obligation of vehicles to comply with the structure of the road and traffic safety in terms of construction and use, and to ensure that a vehicle or component or separate technical unit operates in a manner that does not cause electromagnetic disturbances that are difficult to withstand against anything in its electromagnetic environment. This Regulation covers the issuance of AT Component Type Approval Certificate for electrical or electronic sub-assemblies (ESA) installed on vehicles in relation to electromagnetic compatibility, and the issuance of AT Vehicle Type Approval Certificate for vehicles in terms of electromagnetic compatibility.
