EN 10263
EN 10263 Test The EN 10263 test aims to observe and report the effects of climate control and heating within the operator enclosure under specific environmental conditions. It defines the test method used to measure the contribution of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operating in a specific environment to the ambient temperature inside the operator enclosure. The climate environment inside the operator enclosure may not directly correspond to this method. The operator cabin is subjected to these tests by determining minimum performance levels for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems of the machine’s operator cabin.
EN 10263-4 Test In accordance with ISO 10263-4 standard, it specifies the test method used to measure the contribution of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system operating in a specific environment to the ambient temperature in the operator compartment. This method may not accurately correspond to the climatic environment inside the operator compartment. For example, parts on and around the machine are also affected by heat load from solar energy. This section of ISO 10263 defines the minimum performance levels required for the machine’s operator compartment heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
EN 10263-5 Test This section of ISO 10263-5 standard aims to evaluate the performance of windshield defrosting systems for clearing ice from the operator compartment and windshield of a vehicle. It is conducted using the necessary test equipment in laboratory facilities.
