CE CERTIFICATION FOR RECREATIONAL CRAFTS (RCD)
The RCD is a mandatory requirement in European Union member states. Every recreational craft between 2.5 and 24 meters intended for sale within the European Union or initially imported into it must comply with the relevant EU directive and bear the “CE” certification mark. Moreover, any boat measuring more than 2.5 and less than 24 meters intended for chartering must possess a CE certificate in accordance with EU legislation.
