EN 10263

Operator cabin enclosure provides observation and reporting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning under specific environmental conditions. A working heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system operator cabin enclosure is cooled to the test temperature used to determine its contribution to the indoor temperature. This method may not clearly correspond to the climate environment inside the operator cabin. The heating of the machine’s operator cabin is subjected to these tests by establishing minimum performance levels for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

EN 10263-4 Test:
A working heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system applied in a specific manner according to ISO 10263-4 standard, humidifies the test heater used to distribute to the ambient temperature in the operator compartment. This method may not clearly match the climatic environment in the operator compartment. For example, parts on and outside the machine are also responsible for heat load from solar energy. This section of ISO 10263 establishes the minimum performance levels required for the machine’s operator cabin heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

EN 10263-5 Test:
In this section of ISO 10263-5 standard, the performance of front windshield defrosting systems can be tested with a vehicle on the operator cabin and front windshield. It is conducted with necessary test components for laboratory facilities.
