TS EN 61000

TS EN 61000-4-11: This standard covers immunity test methods and preferred test levels for voltage dips, short interruptions, and voltage variations related to electrical and electronic devices connected to low voltage power supply networks. It applies to electrical and electronic devices with a declared input current per phase not exceeding 16 A. This standard does not apply to networks connected to electrical and electronic devices or to 400 Hz AC networks.

TS EN 61000-4-8: This standard covers only the immunity characteristics of devices under operating conditions against magnetic disturbances at power frequency in the following locations: residential, commercial, and light-industrial premises, industrial establishments, and power plants, medium and high-voltage sub-stations. The standard describes a test method to determine the immunity of equipment to power frequency magnetic fields. The aim of this standard is to provide a common and repeatable basis for evaluating the performance of electrical and electronic equipment for residential, commercial, and industrial applications when exposed to power frequency magnetic fields.

TS EN 61000-4-6: This standard concerns the immunity requirements against electromagnetic disturbances caused by radio frequency (RF) transmitters in the frequency range from 9 kHz to 80 MHz. The standard does not apply to devices that do not have at least one transmission cable (such as power lines, signal lines, or ground connections) connected to disruptive RF fields. This standard is not intended to specify tests for specific devices and systems. Its main purpose is to provide a general, fundamental reference to all relevant IEC product committees. Product committees (or device users and manufacturers) remain responsible for selecting appropriate test procedures and severity levels for their devices.

TS EN 61000-4-5: This standard covers the immunity characteristics, test methods, and recommended test levels for devices subjected to transient voltage surges caused by switching and lightning transient regimes.

TS EN 61000-4-4: This part of IE 61000 concerns the immunity of electrical and electronic equipment to repetitive fast transient disturbances. Rules and test procedures for electrical fast transient bursts/pulses are provided in this standard, along with defined intervals for test levels and specified test procedures.

TS EN 61000-4-3: This standard covers the immunity of electrical and electronic devices to electromagnetic energy radiated via radiation.

TS EN 61000-4-2: This standard covers the immunity requirements and test methods for electrical and electronic devices exposed to electrostatic discharge (ESD) from direct contact with operators and nearby objects. Additionally, it describes test level zones for different environmental and installation conditions and specifies test procedures. The aim of this standard is to establish a common and repeatable basis for evaluating the operational characteristics of electrical and electronic devices exposed to electrostatic discharges. Furthermore, it covers electrostatic discharges from personnel to significant objects near the equipment.
